All prices shown at Handicraft of India site are exclusive of custom charges, since the rate of custom duties vary from country to country.
It is our experience that small value low volume personal shipments rarely attract custom duty.
For bigger orders (which can't be sent through normal courier), the consignment is shipped through traditional cargo system and the buyer has to bear the custom duty as per the country norms for the shipment
If a product is damaged during transit; we will refund the cost of the product or replace the product. You can get the refund or replacement by returning goods within 30 days of receiving the same at the following location: :

Order Placement Period
As we collect our handicrafts directly from the artisans located in small towns / remote villages scattered all over India, we may need a certain amount of time for shipping your order. This gestation period depends on the type of handicrafts ordered and their quantity. You will get an e-mail notification to that effect along with the approximate shipping date.
Refunds for the items for which we have received payment will be made either by check or credited to your credit card account. Our manager will respond promptly to your request. If you have any concerns, you may send an e-mail to email@example.com
We do not anticipate any cancellations from our customers once we send the order confirmation and the products have been shipped. If a product is being returned for no fault of ours, shipping and handling charges may be applied to the customer's account. All orders shipped as per the promised date and delivered in 3 to 5 days by leading international cargo / courier or by your preferred one, if possible. We work on principles of no profit no loss on shipping charges. The shipping charges are calculated on volumetric weight, after adding a fixed handling cost for each shipment. This whole calculation is integrated in the system software and no manipulation is done.
Our authorized payment Gateway; CCAvenue.com accepts Visa, Master, Amex, Discover, JCB and Diners Credit Cards. We also have an option of receiving payment through Money orders, Bankers Cheque and Telegraphic Transfers, according to client suitability.
